| Hi Juleyka, I read your piece, Man of the House, and was moved by how aptly you captured my own family history & struggle. I also had a father who p****ed away & a mom who never questioned the fact that she was doing it all. I remember that incredible arrogance I brought home after my first year in college, the first time I stepped outside the Korean immigrant bubble in LA, & the eventual process of realizing the deeper value of the feminism that raised me.
